Strategic Thinking

Each year, the Board of Directors undertake a strategic review by considering a range of factors including stakeholder demands (shareholders, customers and staff), the global, EU and Maltese political and economic conditions, the Maltese insurance market, the current strengths and weaknesses of the company and the standards and values that underpin the type of company that the shareholders seek.

The Board then communicates an updated strategic direction to the management and staff to enable them to develop a medium term strategic business plan. This document is then used as the mechanism to develop the annual budget, and to monitor all activities throughout the trading year
