Motor Claims Officer

We are looking for a Motor Claims Officer to join our Motor Claims Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing customers with advice on making a claim.
  • Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim.
  • Advising customers on any issues and queries they may have related to their claim.
  • General office duties.

 

Education & Experience:

  • A related insurance qualification (or part qualification).
  • Previous experience within the local insurance industry, ideally in a motor claims environment.

 

Skills:

  • Sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership.
  • Ability to handle various customer types.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese.

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Head of HR to join our Senior Management Team. This role will report to Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for driving the HR Function within the organisation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with Senior and Middle Managers to manage the full employee cycle.
  • Developing and implementing strategic human resources policies.
  • Driving the development and implementation of company strategic objectives.
  • Workforce planning; identification and forecasting of resource requirements.
  • Recruitment of employees, negotiating employment agreements, maintaining on-boarding programmes.

  • Motivating, mentoring, and supporting employees.
  • Designing and delivering training programs.
  • Developing and driving a performance driven culture.

  • Acting as a point of reference for all HR matters.

The Head of Commercial Underwriting and Reinsurance will report to the Commercial Underwriting General Manager.

  • Managing relations with various international reinsurers.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in underwriting large complex insurance risks, particularly CAR's.
