We are seeking a customer-focused and professional individual to join our front-desk team as a Customer Experience Officer at our Head Office in Ta’ Xbiex. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in delivering a seamless, welcoming, and supportive experience to clients and visitors, with an increased focus on digital customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Handle customer queries with care, empathy, and accuracy across digital channels including email, chat, and internal systems.
  • Resolve queries directly whenever possible by using available tools, information, and system access.
  • Capture and escalate more complex issues to the appropriate teams, ensuring smooth follow-through and clear updates to customers.
  • Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area that reflects Elmo’s customer-first standards.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-centric attitude.
  • A minimum of an A-Level standard of education.
  • Insurance-related qualifications or experience are considered a strong asset.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Maltese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience in a customer-facing or digital customer service role is considered beneficial.

We are seeking a motivated Branch Senior Officer to play a key role in supporting and strengthening our branch operations. This position offers the opportunity to combine customer engagement, sales leadership, and operational excellence within a dynamic insurance environment, with the flexibility to support multiple branches as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service across all channels, including face-to-face, email, and telephone interactions.
  • Provide clear, tailored advice to customers on insurance products and services, ensuring their needs are fully understood and met.
  • Drive sales performance through cross-selling, product education, and proactive customer engagement.
  • Process insurance quotations, policies, renewals, and claims efficiently while maintaining service quality.
  • Ensure accurate handling and secure maintenance of customer documentation in line with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Promote and uphold quality assurance (QA) and customer experience (CX) standards within the branch.
  • Ensure full compliance with market conduct rules, risk management policies, and internal procedures.

 

What we're looking for:

  • At least two years’ experience within the insurance industry.
  • Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and integrity.
  • Confident in dealing with a wide range of customer profiles and situations.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Clear and professional communication skills in both English and Maltese

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking to recruit a Motor Underwriting Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will be based at our Head Office, playing an important role in delivering efficient underwriting and customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide professional assistance to customers across multiple channels, including face-to-face interactions, email, and telephone.
  • Respond to customer enquiries by clearly explaining motor insurance products, terms, and services.
  • Obtain, review, and process customer documentation in line with underwriting and regulatory requirements.
  • Issue motor insurance quotations, policies, and renewals accurately and efficiently
  • Support day-to-day underwriting and administrative operations within the department
  • Provide operational support to branches as required.

 

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of one year experience within the local insurance industry.
  • An insurance-related qualification or currently pursuing a recognised certification will be considered an asset.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and integrity.
  • Ability to deal confidently with a wide range of customer profiles.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in both English and Maltese.

We are looking to recruit an organised and detail-oriented individual to join our Health Insurance team on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for the processing and assessment of health insurance applications and claims.
  • Assist clients by handling queries and delivering a high standard of customer service.
  • Support sales staff and other teams with health insurance-related queries and administration.
  • Carry out day-to-day administrative duties, including data entry, issuing documentation, and general office support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with company procedures.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
  • A minimum of A’ Level standard of education or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese.
  • Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing positively within a team environment.
  • Previous experience in the local insurance industry and / or knowledge of the healthcare sector will be considered an asset.
