We are seeking to recruit a Branch Senior Officer to support our existing branches operations. The ideal candidate for this role will be required to perform the following main duties and responsibilities.

  • Managing customer interactions across multiple channels (face-to-face, email, and phone), ensuring excellent service and prompt issue resolution.
  • Responding to customer queries with clear explanations of insurance products and services, tailoring responses to individual needs.
  • Supporting the expansion and strategic growth of the branch by identifying new opportunities for market penetration.
  • Driving sales and business growth by promoting, cross-selling, and educating customers on all available insurance products.
  • Contributing to sales forecasts and branch performance analysis to support business planning.
  • Handling, processing, and safeguarding customer documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Issuing insurance policies, quotations, renewals, and efficiently processing claims to maintain service excellence.
  • Implementing and ensuring adherence to quality assurance (QA) and customer experience (CX) standards within the branch.
  • Ensuring compliance with market conduct regulations, risk management policies, and company guidelines in all branch operations.
  • Liaising with marketing to coordinate promotional activities within the branch.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Holds a recognised insurance qualification or is currently in the process of obtaining one.
  • A minimum of two years’ work experience in the insurance industry. 

 

Skills:

  •  Sense of responsibility, accountability, and ownership.
  • Ability to handle various customer types.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese.

Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a full-time Compliance Analyst to join our insurance company. Reporting to the Compliance Officer, this role involves supporting the monitoring and assessing of the company’s compliance with regulatory obligations, supporting with the implementation of the compliance plan, supporting in the preparation of communications and reports for the regulatory bodies, board of directors, management and staff on compliance matters, liaising with external regulators and ensuring the timely submission of regulatory filings, and maintaining detailed records of compliance activities. This position is crucial for ensuring our company adheres to all regulatory standards. 

The ideal candidate should ideally possess:

  • Adequate exposure and work experience in the Insurance, Corporate Services or Financial Services Industry.
  • At least a MQF Level 5 academic qualification/s in Compliance, Financial Services, Management, Finance, Insurance, Law or relevant field of study to the role.
  • A willingness to learn and continue academic studies in the field of compliance.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

We are seeking to recruit a dedicated Information Security Officer (ISO) who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s information security policies, procedures, and initiatives. The ISO will safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data, systems, and networks, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines to protect company information systems.
  • Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, responding promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Investigate security breaches, conduct forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, industry frameworks, and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, DORA).
  • Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and penetration testing to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and oversee incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards.
  • Experience with security tools, SIEM solutions, and endpoint protection.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle security incidents effectively.

 

Professional certifications (CISM, CISA, CEH) and experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) will be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and supporting businesses in commercial lines insurance via a diversified distribution network. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Technical support: Provide guidance and support to customers, intermediaries and colleagues as necessary
