Business Analyst – Business Transformation

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Business Transformation to join our Information Technology team and play a key role in supporting the organisation's digital transformation journey. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational needs, analyse business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and help deliver technology-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency and customer service. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Gather, document and validate business and functional requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders.
  • Support Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Act as the link between business users and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution implementation.
  • Develop business process documentation, functional specifications and user guides.
  • Support organisational change by helping users adopt new systems and processes.

 

What we're looking for:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Insurance, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with business process analysis and documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with database structures and an operating knowledge of SQL.
  • A willingness to learn, adapt and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

 Previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry, experience with enterprise business applications, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and business analysis tools will be considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing timely and professional technical support to end users.

What we're looking for:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in an IT Support, Help Desk or Desktop Support role.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A customer-first attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn new technologies.

Professional certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL Foundation will be considered an asset.

  • Provide clear, tailored advice to customers on personal lines insurance products and services, ensuring their needs are fully understood and met.
  • Process insurance quotations, policies and renewals efficiently while maintaining service quality.
  • Liaise confidently with third parties/intermediaries to provide support and resolve issues.
  • Ensure accurate handling and secure maintenance of customer documentation in line with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and take initiative to resolve client concerns.
  • Ensure full compliance with market conduct rules, risk management policies, and internal procedures.

  • At least two years’ experience within the insurance industry.
