October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take precautionary steps to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. 

Employees at Elmo Insurance contributed money towards raising awareness for ‘Breast Cancer Month’, whilst homemade cupcakes decorated with pink ribbons and assorted pink sweets were purchased against a donation.  

Money collected from all staff was doubled by Elmo Insurance and will be donated to; Action For Breast Cancer Foundation (Malta), 27, Papa Pawlu V Street, Qawra, St. Paul’s Bay, Malta 

Elmo Insurance Ltd gave a free Pink Umbrella a day through the month of October as a sign of support in aid of Breast Cancer, through a competition on its Facebook Page.
